Angelo and Banta, P.A. offers highly personalized services in the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration. Adrian P. Thomas, Of Counsel to the firm, holds a Masters of Law in Estate Planning and heads the firm's practice in these areas. Mr. Thomas works closely with the firm's real estate corporate, litigation and appellate attorneys to bring the firm's collective expertise to each client.

Minimization of estate taxes, preservation of wealth and clarity in the administration process are the goals of an effective estate plan. During the planning process, we consider the impact of federal income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping taxes on the passage of wealth. Family Limited Partnerships, QTIP trusts, life insurance trusts, annuities, and family charitable foundations are a few of the vehicles used to achieve these goals.

In the probate process, the firm provides advice to trustees, fiduciaries and executors to help guide them through their various responsibilities and obligations and is experienced in administering estates that pass property outside of probate. The firm's litigation and appellate attorneys are experienced in handling will contest litigation as well as other disputes that may arise during the administration of an estate.
